yet another documentary to add to my growing list of films i want to see(it must be some year for documentaries with films on the moog, jandek, and klaus nomi coming out). this one's on the electronic pioneer bruce haack(and yes - that's him with mr. rogers demonstrating some sort of electronic instrument. you can see actual footage of it in the trailer on the site). the film is currently touring north america(it'll be playing in austin, seattle, taos, and vancouver in may). i'd heard that there was going to be a biopic coming out on him as well with beck playing haack. but the project has been cancelled. i can't say i'm sad about that, as in general i prefer a real documentary to some half true biopic. via the exoticalist.
