tailly high - new talents from taiwan. a film festival that opens at the end of the week and looks rather promising. the line up even has a few films with english subtitles. i was pretty excited to see there will be some screenings of experimental films but those will have no english subs. often times experimental films have no dialogue and are more about visual language. i'm not sure how much the language is neccesary for the understanding of these films. of course they are showing when i have to work so it's doubtful i'd be able to see any of the experimental work, but i'll definately be trying to see some of the the other films. via hiho.org.
