today is world toy camera day:

On that day everyone from around the world should dust off their toy camera(s), load it up with your film of choice, and take pictures! 'But of what?' you ask? - well that is completely up to you, like our first years submissions, it can be a park, some people that you meet when your'e walking down the street, a dog walking, some old rusty propane tanks, pretty much anything that sparks your interest while your out and about on October 23rd, 2004.

Participants are asked to send their 'pick of the litter' to represent their submission for judging by all other participants.

i'd love to do this, only thing is i don't have a toy camera. after reading about them though, i'm really itching for a holga. some of the entries from last year can be seen here and here. via blog.photoblogs.org.
