yesterday i found myself back at that 69 nt store i've become quite fond of lately. i ended up coming away with a book of supernatural stories. the book is a chinese version of a book released in japan. it's chock full of great illustrations:

is it just me, or does that bottom picture look like alfalfa? and what is he doing in a book on the supernatural?

i bought the book with the intent of cutting up the illustrations for collages, but some of the illustrations i like so much, i don't think i'll be cutting them up that much.
