this week's audioscrobbler chart. they've been having lots of problems over there lately, but at least the weekly charts are up. they revamped their normal charts, so now all you can see is the top 100. the one thing i liked about their charts was seeing what was hovering around the bottom of the chart near 1000. the top bands usually don't interest me that much, but it's fun to see what oddities show up nearer the bottom. the taiwan chart surprised me, as there were at least 3 people listening to sun ra this last week. i was one of them, but still not something i expected to see show up.

speaking of music, patrick let me know that hazel nuts chocolate would be coming to taiwan to play at the grass festival. of course i hadn't even heard aobut the festival, but i may try to go to at least one of the days. it looks like it's taking place at shida(the branch in wanlong not the branch where most foreigners learn chinese).
