earlier in the week i went to huashan culture art center(pathetically their english page has no info on the shows going on) to see their show on the photographer/artist yeh ching-fang. apparently he had worked for some local newspaper for 10 years got fed up with it and quit to concentrate on his art. unfortunatley he had a fondness for alcohol which led to his death last year(at least that's what i've been told). the exhibit wasn't very big and i would have liked to have seen more. they had some books for sale featuring his work, which i'm considering going back and getting. among the pictures at the show they had two of the pinhole cameras hanging up that he used to take some of his shots. you can see most of the shots from the show here.
