george clued me into spout. it's one of those sites like friendster - but this time all about movies. it seems to have some sort of connection to a dvd shop. i'm mainly using it to list/keep track of the dvds i own. though it fails on that level quite often as the selection of movies for the most part doesn't include things released in other countries. i'm not sure if there's a way to add movies to their database as i've just started using it. for the curious out there you can view the list of dvds i own here, or films i've seen here or films i want to see here(that one isn't a very big list at this point). i like the idea that you can create customizable lists or groups. of course this list for movies we wished we hadn't seen and movies we don't want to see contain quite a few movies i have gladly seen. lists like those seem pretty pointless unless they have explanations as to why they wish they hadn't seen them.
