also vinyl collectibles had an open call for the general public to submit designs in a toy competition - with the winner having their toy produced. the finalists have been selected. you can vote here. i wasn't all that thrilled with the finalists. it's not that they are bad, but very few of them would i want to buy. which may just say more about the kinds of toys i like than the quality of the toys.
