speaking of punk, last week i was thumbing through some book on punk. lots of great pictures, articles, and then at the end of the book is...green day?! what were they doing in there? they may have been influenced by punk, but compared to the early punk bands they are pop all the way. everything i've heard by them has left me rather unimpressed. or maybe i'm missing something?

you tube seems to be bursting with siouxsie related videos and interviews. here's one where she's gone all las vegas and to me seems like a cross between norma desmond and liza minelli. but maybe that's just me. and here's a christmas interview from 1988. who's the guy she flashes the "peace" sign to?
