blogging about altered books got me interested in attempting one of my own. so i decided to go down to the 69 nt dollar store and see what i could find. well, i found some books worthy of cutting up(among them a medical chinese-english conversation dictionary and a chinese-english sign language dictionary with illustrations!). what i didn't expect to find was this whole series of magazines devoted to a year and what happened in taiwan(and the world) in that year. i bought two: one on 1967 and one on 1969. the one on 1967 has a short article(in chinese) on go-go music in taiwan. i don't know who wong ching yian is, but i think i need that record.
