one of the simpsons is to be outted next year. since they don't show the simpsons here, i'll probably not be seeing that episode until it comes out on dvd a long long time from now. one of my favourite simpsons' episodes was when john waters played homer's gay friend. how can anything with john waters in it be anything but wonderful? oddly, i never saw that episode show up in syndication, and i've since read that they got a lot of complaints for that particular episode. i wonder if they just never released it for syndication?

there's been alot of speculation as to who may be gay on the show. a lot of what i've read suggests that just because a character has been with the opposite sex, s/he can't be gay. are people still really that naieve?
