americans living abroad can register to vote and download forms to request an absentee ballot here. i printed out mine today, and will send them off in tomorrow's post. now we'll see if the absentee actually reaches me in time. somehow i wonder if absentee votes really make much of difference in an election, seems like half the time they announce the winner before everyone has even finished voting. via pots.
