the debut album by misty roses has been released:

Misty Roses is the trans-Atlantic duo of London-based DJ/multi-instrumentalist Jonny Perl and New York songwriter and chanteuse Robert Conroy. The project is a means for living out digitally Perl and Conroy's fixations with "glamorous easy listening music." It began two years ago in New York City when the two were brought together by their shared obsessions with the stranger, more evocative aspects of the popular non-rock music of the fifties, sixties and seventies: exotica, bossa nova, chansons, film scores and the work of middle of the road mavericks like Dusty Springfield, Burt Bacharach, Scott Walker, Serge Gainsbourg, Ennio Morricone, Astrud Gilberto, and Piero Umiliani.

the more i listen to the mp3 sound sample the more i like what i hear. they also had a song on the debut release from comfort stand records. for ten bucks the album looks to be a steal, not to mention that jonny perl is responsible for the nifty delicado blog.
