monday is my birthday, so peter and i are heading to tainan, kaoshiung and kenting for the weekend as a sort of pre-birthday trip. hopefully it'll allow me to get my mind off the terrible results of the election. both my friend paul and the daily kos(via up among the golden spires) have some terrible predicitons about what will happen next. this map seems to sum things up pretty well(via idle type) and if things do get really bad you can always marry a canadian.
