we're back from our trip to the southern tip of the island and my neck and face are looking somewhat like a fire engine as the sun block failed me. reading material for this trip was the perks of a being a wallflower. not sure if that was the best thing to read on a trip as it reminds me depressingly of high school. once i've gone through all the pictures i took, i'll post more details about the trip.

today is my 37th birthday. happy birthday to me. i've no plans for my bday except for working and then eating some cake with peter. it looks like most of the gifts friends and family have sent me will be late which is ok. makes getting the mail over the next few weeks a bit more exciting. peter of course already gave me my gift(a hard drive to be used for video editing).
